第6课时教学设计

一、教学目标

1. 能够在读取语篇的过程中抓取关键信息,并通过细节进行推理;能独立完成选图的读后任务。

2. 能够综合运用本单元的核心词句,并参考范例,在有意义的语境中填充单词,完成日记。

3. 能够读懂Story time中的故事,并能表演/朗读故事;结合学生的实际情况,整合学过的相关知识,对故事内容进行适当的改编。

4. 学生能体会到英语学习的快乐,积极参与各种课堂学习活动。

5. 能够培养爱护动物的意识。

二、教学重难点

1. 学生能够读懂日记,找出关键信息,完成读后任务。

2. 能够综合运用本单元的核心词句,并参考范例,在有意义的语境中填充单词,完成观察动物的成长日记。

3. 学生能够建立起关键词组和相关事件的关系,提高阅读效率,培养阅读的自信心。同时渗透阅读策略。

三、教学步骤

Step 1 Warm-up

1. Brainstorm

点击鼠标,出现本单元A、B部分学过的核心词汇和图片,巩固单词。如:first, second, third, fourth, fifth, twelfth, twentieth, twenty-first, twenty-third, thirtieth。

2. Free talk

When is …? It’s on …

(设计意图:跟唱歌曲,培养兴趣。激活学生本单元的核心词汇,为阅读打基础。复习单元核心句型,为下一步做铺垫。)

Task 1

Step 1 Pre-reading

Look and guess

教师出示Part B Read and write的图片, 感知情境,预测文本。

Q: What are they? (读图引出并理解单词:kitten, diary)

Step 2 While-reading

1.Read and circle

老师让学生阅读文段,并圈出日期。

2. Read and answer

默读文本圈出文中表示日期的单词,同时借助图片理解并识读单词fur,回答问题:What are the kittens like in the diary?

3. Read and match

寻读,并完成读后连线的任务,勾出文中佐证的句子。

4. L et’s learn

教读新词still和noise并理解其含义。

5. Listen and follow

学生跟读句子,体会语音语调,模仿录音,按意群朗读故事。

(设计意图:按照默读、寻读、朗读的顺序使学生体会阅读技巧,使学生意识到不同的任务需要不同的阅读方法。)

Step 3 Post-reading

1. Read the diary in groups

Ask some groups to read the diary.

2. Let’s discuss

小组间讨论小猫的生长过程及彼此喜欢的小动物生长过程,渗透爱护动物的意识。

(设计意图:小组成员要互相纠正。先讨论后书写,充分降低了学生个性化书写的难度。)

3. Let’s write

模仿范文,结合自己的生活经验,仿写一篇有关其他小动物的观察日记。

Task 2

Step 1 Look and guess

教师:The singing test will be on May 4th. But Zoom doesn’t prepare well. His friends invites him to play. Can you guess what zoom answers.提出问题,让学生带着问题与好奇心进行猜测。Step 2 Look and read

欣赏Story time,回答问题,了解故事情节。

Step 3 Finish the tasks

出示两个问题,让学生根据故事大意,思考作答。然后老师和学生一起核对答案。同时号召学生向Zoom学习认真做事,熟能生巧,开心玩乐的生活习惯。

Step 4 Homework

与同学们一起读本单元的单词和句子。
