浅议初中英语听力训练 【摘要】初中学生已经能够熟练的进行思维,吸收新事物,理解新问题,英语课堂作为实施英语听力训练的主阵地,教师要为学生创造一个良好的语言环境,使英语听力经常化,在教学中通过增加词汇量、加强复述训练、有目的进行听力训练、培养学生良好心理素质等方式方法以牢固的语法知识促进听力水平的提高。 【Abstract】Skilled junior high school students have been able to think and absorb new things, understand new problems, the implementation of English Listening English classroom training as the main front, teachers for students to create a good language environment for regular listening, in teaching by increasing vocabulary, enhance repeat the training, the purpose of hearing a train, a good psychological quality students ways to promote a solid knowledge of grammar and listening levels. 【Key words】listening; Training; Understanding; Culture 听是人们进行言语交际的重要手段,听力是获得有声信息的活动能力,也可以说是一种交际能力。没有听,就没有说,语言的交流也就无从谈起。因而,听力在语言学当中有其特殊的作用,是英语学习的重要途径之一。对刚接触英语的初中生来说,听力训练是比较困难的,学生往往会产生畏难情绪,进而对听力训练失去信心。为此,教师必须采取切实可行的方法,教活听力课,增强学生的学习兴趣,提高听力训练的效果。 1.用英语组织教学,使英语听力经常化 初中学生已经能够熟练的进行思维,吸收新事物,理解新问题,课堂英语是实施英语听力训练的主阵地,要为学生创造一个良好的语言环境,就必须用英语组织教学。一开始,学生理解可能有困难,教师可结合形体语言或一些直观教具来帮助学生理解。在学生能较好地理解教师所用的课堂用语后,应适当增大英语课堂用语的比例和难度。教师应把课堂用语看作培养学生听力的一项重要训练内容,坚持不懈的使用。这样,不仅可以给学生营造良好的语言环境,让学生始终沉浸在良好的英语氛围中,形成直接的英语思维,提高英语反应和理解能力,而且能帮助学生复习学过的单词和句型,感知语言形象。例如:在一篇课文教学中,向学生出示一幅幅漂亮的图片,然后对学生说:Look at this picture,what can you see?(I can see a ……).通过这样的情境教学,即使学生不看书,也能容易听懂对话内容,从而增加了学生在课内接受听力训练的机会。 2.看与听结合 初中英语训练应从看入手,即让学生看录象,图片及实物,听录音或教师的朗读,最后再跟读,模仿。从一开始就让学生真正地学习“如何”说话,从感性上接触英语,培养其为交际初步运用英语的能力。这种让学生接受视觉信息的同时接受相

浅谈初中英语听力障碍及训练策略杨芸 发表时间:2014-10-17T15:59:09.433Z 来源:《读写算(新课程论坛)》2014年第8期(上)作者:杨芸[导读] 听力是听和理解的总和。听力理解的过程是人们运用各种知识和技能的过程。杨芸 (古蔺县古蔺镇中学古蔺646500)听是人们进行言语交际的重要手段,是学习英语的重要途径之一。里弗斯的研究表明,听占整个言语交际活动总量的45% 。由此可见,训练听力有助于全面提高学生的英语交际能力。随着英语新教材的启用,加强学生的听力训练,提高学生听力理解水平,已经受到广大英语教师的高度重视。但是,笔者认为,目前初中英语的听力教学还处于起点阶段,距新课标所规定的目标尚有一定的距离。 听力理解障碍何在?如何培养学生听英语的能力,提高他们的听力水平,笔者想就此略陈管见。 一、听力理解障碍 1、语言基础知识的障碍 听力是听和理解的总和。听力理解的过程是人们运用各种知识和技能的过程。在听的过程中,学生对语言基础知识掌握程度的高低决定了听力理解及反应速度的差异。 语音障碍:有些学生一开始就没有掌握每个单词的准确发音,长此以往,特别是对发音相近的词,不能正确辨别一些容易混淆的音素,如sheep---ship,house---horse.语速障碍:有些英语教师讲课语速比较慢,学生形成了习惯,遇到正常的语速的听力材料就不能适应。如再遇到一些连读,弱读,重读,失爆,重音转移等语音语调的变化,更是无所适从。 英语语音差异:英美英语除了在词汇上的差异外,在读音上也不尽相同,有些读音差别还相当大。而我国英语教学过去基本上采用英国英语教学体系。随着对外开放,美音教材增多并有流行的趋势,有些学生因不熟悉英美语音的差异,就产生了听力障碍。 词汇障碍:学生英语词汇量的大小,掌握的熟练程度,一词多义和同音异义的现象,都有给学生听力理解造成一定的困难。 2、母语干扰的障碍 许多学生在听到一段语音信息后,常受母语干扰,习惯用中文逐句逐词翻译出来,而不能直接将语音信息转化为一定的情景,不能直接用英语进行思维,多了个中间环节,这种心译影响了反应速度和记忆效果。 3、文化背景知识的障碍 语言是文化的一种表现形式,学生必须具备一定的英美历史的语言文学知识,还需了解和熟悉一些英美国家人民的生活习惯,文化背景,风土人情及生活方式,不少中学生由于缺乏这方面的知识,听力理解便产生一定困难。如学生对西方的感恩节、愚人节等不甚了解,就会对这些感到茫然。 4 、心理因素的障碍 听力理解的过程也是一个较复杂的心理活动过程。心理学家告诉我们,当人的情绪处于紧张焦虑的状态时,就会产生恐惧心理,从而使原来可以听懂的内容也大打折扣。另外,外部环境对学生也有较大的影响,环境的变化会使学生在心理上产生相应的变化。同样的听力内容,学生在教室里听教师授课和在语音室里听录音的心理准备和活动的方式是不一样的。而多数学生又不善于高速心理变化,从而造成听力理解上的因难。学生在听音时的情感因素和听力理解的有效程度也有着直接的联系。如果学生听音目的明确并有强烈的听音个体, 其效果就好。反之,会产生心理抵触和厌恶情绪。通过以上的分析可以看出,听力理解能力不仅与听者的语言知识掌握程度有关,而且与听者所具有的文化知识,心理素质等也有密切的联系。因此,教师要针对英语听力障碍对症下药,采用适当的训练策略。 二、听力理解的训练策略 1、注重语言知识的传授 首先,要认真教好音标,严格把好音标关。学好音标是学好英语的前提。音标基础的好坏决定了语音、语调的好坏,要使初中生人人打好语音基础,对提高学生的听力水平无疑会起到事半功倍的效果。其次要注意朗读技巧的训练和培养。 教师在课堂上应有意传授语句重音、节奏、音变、连续以及语调等知识,加强学生的朗读技巧。朗读技巧的培养和训练不是一朝一夕的事,无捷径可走,只有坚持不懈,持之以恒,才能英语的朗读技巧。第三,要正确引导学生记忆单词,任何一门语音的学习都离不开词汇的学习和积累。词汇的学习要边学边记,最有效的方法是根据读音规则进行记忆。拼音文字的最大优越性就是词的读音与拼写一致。根据这一特点,会读的单词自然会拼,按读音记忆的单词也不会遗忘。 2、重视培养学生听力理解的技巧与良好听的习惯在听力教学中,教师要注意对学生进行听力技巧的训练,这是提高学生听力理解水平的有效措施。所谓听力技巧,包括语音技巧和听力技巧。语音技巧包括连读、弱读、句子重音、意群划分等。而理解技巧是指对所听内容的检索、预测、取舍等技巧。 3、寓听力理解训练于日常教学中 训练学生听力要与日常教学结合在一起,课堂教学中教师要尽量用英语组织教学,这是听力训练教学的出发点,也是最有效的听力训练方法。其次,在课时安排上,可充分利用课前5 分钟或每节课的复习时间,让学生听一些有关材料,作为“热身运动”或者利用课堂教学结束前数分钟安排训练听力。第三,在内容选择上,充分挖掘并利用教材中的听力材料,不要轻易放弃,在内容的呈现上,应遵循听、说、读、写教学顺序,做到先听后说,先说后读,先读后写;或者把教材中的内容改成听力材料。第四,与课本配套的同步听力以及练习册、目标测试中的听力练习等,更是要坚持随着教学进行训练。 4、注意学生良好心理素质的培养 保持良好的状态,自觉养成好习惯对于听力的培养十分的重要。目前,初中生的心理控制能力有较大的发展,但是他们又有心理状态可塑性强的特点。从听力训练的初始阶级就应强调培养良好的心理素质。首先,要对学生加强学习目的教育,鼓励学生树立信心,增强克服困难的勇气。教师要明确告诉学生,听是学好英语的重要途径之一,要加以重视。同时不否认听力理解有相当的难度,只要正视它,经过持之以恒的努力是能够克服的。其次教师在课堂上要创设一个轻松和谐的气氛,努力消除学生因害怕、担忧、反感而产生的心理障碍。第三,教师在课堂上要引入竞争机制,激发学生听的兴趣,看到学生一点一滴的进步,要适时给予表扬。如在训练时可采用抢答方式,看谁反应迅速,答得正确性。

听力教学在初中英语教学中的重要性 文安县大柳河镇中学王震 摘要:英语听力教学不断得到学校和社会的重视,英语教学师资队伍也日益递升专业水平。但是,初中学生在听力方面依然是薄弱环节,必须加强听力能力的培养。 关键词:初中英语听力教学朗读 参考文献:顾曰国《英语教学法》,外语教学与研究社 《中小学英语教学与研究》,1999年第1,3,6期 作者:赵芳 听、说、读、写在英语教学中尤为重要,其中,听是获得语言信息和语言感受的最主要的途径,是其他技能的基础。训练听力有助于提高学生的英语交际能力,激发学习兴趣,培养语感,让学生增强学好英语的信心,从而以“听”带动“说、读、写”,提高英语综合水平。然而如何有效地组织听力教学,提高学生英语听力水平,却是一件令师生头痛的事,也是摆在师生面前的一个无法回避的问题。 一、听力训练中常见问题在听力训练过程中,学生普遍反应听力水平无法提高,听力效果不够明显。究其原因,笔者认为存在以下障碍:1、心理障碍:许多学生在做听力训练时,往往感到心理紧张,甚至大脑一片空白,什么也没听进去。2、读音障碍:有些学生对读音重视不够,没有掌握单词的准确发音,尤其是对语音相同或相近的词,不能辨听一些易混淆的音素。有些学生即使掌握了单词的准确发音,但遇到连读、弱读、爆破等朗读技巧时,又显得束手无策。3、词汇障碍:在听力过程中学生难免会遇到一些生词,有些即使不是生词,但由于不常用或是有些生疏的词汇,也会给听力效果带来一些障碍。4、文化背景知识障碍:由于所属同家不同,所接触的异国文化习俗、风土人情、日常生活、传说、时事、人物、科普等与自己国家的有所不同,这也会给听力中某些涉及异国文化背景的片段造成文化上的stock。学生如果对西方的感恩节、愚人节不了解,就会感到迷茫。5、方法问题:有些同学的英语基础很好,可就是提不高听力,这可能就是方法问题。听力训练到了一定阶段,要侧重于整句整段甚至于整篇的理解,而不能只停留在词与句的理解上。如果只注重词与句的理解,语速快了,就跟不上,自然也就听不懂。 二、排除听力问题的技巧和方法自我放松在做听力训练时,教师告诉学生要消除紧张心理,自我放松,就像旁听者在听两人对话一样,尤其是对初听者,自我放松尤为重要。对于初听者,可以采取多次重放重听的方式,使其消除紧张状态。带着问题听有些学生特别是初一、初二的学生,材料听了两遍,结果一脸茫然,根本没听进去。这是由于他们跟不上说话者的速度,反应不过来。针对这种情况,教师可指导学生在听录音之前先浏览一遍题目,有时也可充分利用题与题之间的暂停时间间隔去浏览答卷上的内容,先对所听范围和大意有个大致了解,然后再带着问题听,并让学生养成这样一种习惯。听清关键词通常情况下,我们有可能不能彻底听清、听懂每一个音素、音节、单词或词组,但只要我们听清了关键词或关键因素,同样可以做出正确的答案。例如有这样的一则听力材料:Did

浅谈初中英语听说训练教学策略 发表时间:2012-03-01T10:54:22.790Z 来源:《科教新时代》2012年1月供稿作者:张苗 [导读] 初中英语教学的目的,是通过听、说、读、写的训练,形成一定的综合语言运用能力。 张苗(作者单位:河南省平顶山市宝丰县第三初级中学) 【中图分类号】G444 【文章标识码】C 【文章编号】1326-3587(2012)01-0066-02 初中英语教学的目的,是通过听、说、读、写的训练,形成一定的综合语言运用能力。但是,在初中英语教学实际情况中,仍然存在忽视课程标准的要求,自觉和不自觉地采用传统的注重读写译和语法教学的方法和课堂结构,忽略听说训练,因而不能充分达到课程标准规定的初中英语教学目的。鉴于此,笔者根据自己的学习体会和从事初中英语教学的实践,就如何转变思想观念,严格执行课程标准要求,改革教学方法,抓好初中英语听说训练的问题,浅谈管窥之见,求教于大家。 一、对听说领先法的理解和认识 1、听说领先法是实现课程标准的保证。 自60年代以来,我国外语教学引进听说领先法理论作为指导思想,经过几十年教学改革的实践,到目前为止听说领先法已成为我国中学外语教学的主导方法。近年来,英语课程标准及根据标准所编写的教材中充分体现这一指导思想。笔者认为,学习外语,首先应重视听的训练,能够听懂,才能带动读说译写的能力跟上,在听懂会说的基础上,才可能使英语学习有快速提高的效果。因此,实行听说领先法教学是实现课程标准听说教学要求的保证。 2、英语语言的特点决定了在教学实践中必须坚持听说领先。 英语文字形、音、义并无有机的结合,是拼音文字,这对中国学生来说是个很大的差异。此外,英语中还有一些只能意会的不能用语法规则讲清的习惯用法,句型,也存在一些汉、英思维上的差异,在这样的条件下,中国的学生学习英语的拼音文字,如果不能听懂,也就不会读说,文字的形义也就不能牢记。中国学生必须多听,多读,多说,才能记住英语的形义,时间稍久些不听不说,就很容易忘记。因此笔者认为:学习英语在初中起始阶段的听说比重要大些,在以后的各个学习阶段,仍然要重视听说训练,仍然要把听说训练放在第一重要的位置,也就是说要把听说领先法贯穿于整个学习外语的过程中。同时把语法书写、交际应用、语言知识、翻译等能力培养揉合进去,这样才能学好英语。但是必须指出,听说领先,是指学习英语时首先要多听,听懂,多说,会说。可以采取各种有效的手段,切忌要求学生象“小和尚念经”有口无心式地去听去说,那样的听说是机械的,枯燥的,不能持久。 二、提高学生听说能力的有效尝试 语言首先是有声的。听是学习语言的源泉和基础。听得清,才能模仿,听得准,才能说得对。英语教学的初级阶段,要求重视听说训练和口语能力的培养,这是科学的,是符合语言教学规律的。实践中,如何加强对学生的听说训练呢?笔者认为: 1、切实抓好起始阶段的英语教学,培养学生良好的听说习惯。 学生初学英语,往往抱有好奇心和新鲜感,因而对学习怀有极大的兴趣。教师应抓住这一良好的开头,把学生的好奇心逐步培养成愿听爱说的习惯,使学生从一开始就逐步养成先听后说的习惯,勇于用英语回答以及提问,模仿录音的习惯。教师则用流利动听的口语,配备上实物、图片以及表情动作,给学生造成深刻的语言印象,并努力使听说训练从小处着手,创造学生开口的机会。比如,引导学生自觉运用礼貌语言:Hello,Good morning,I’m sorry ,Thank you,etc.还可以从最简单的课堂教学用语着手,重复使用:Read after me,look at the blackboard…等组织教学,学生听多了,不仅听懂,而且也能说几句,好奇心就得到暂时的满足。因此,抓好英语教学的起始关,培养学生的学习兴趣,是开展听说训练的重要一步。 2、课前三分钟讲英语热身。 把每节课开始后的三分钟固定为讲英语的时间,让全班同学轮流作简短的值日报告。具体作法是从易到难,循序渐进,由点到面逐步铺开的方法。值日生报告内容从短小浅易,分阶段逐渐过渡到题材广泛,内容丰富多采。这样做,首先应由教师编写代表性的报告范文,印发给学生,选定几名语音、语调好一点的学生当值日示范,然后全班同学轮流值日。报告内容可以是学校生活,小故事和自由谈话等。最初可按如下几个程式进行:“I’m on duty today.Today is Monday.It’s Sunny today .We are all here…随着词汇、句型的增多,学生还可按当天实际情况增加内容。教师要给予引导鼓励,并有计划地进行巩固所学知识的口语训练及一些交际性训练。这种简单的英语报告尽管仅占几分钟,但对渲染课堂气氛,发挥学生的模仿力和创造力,起到了不可低估的作用,也为口语训练提供了场所。它是巩固课堂教学的一种行之有效的手段。 3、课文教学也坚持听说领先法。 把听说训练同课文教学紧密地结合起来,每教新的课文时,坚持让学生先听录音,然后让学生根据所听内容回答问题。教师提问必须有一般问句,也有特殊问句,内容有简单的,也有复杂的。这样可以让水平不同的学生都能参与进来,真正达到培养训练学生听、说能力的目的。 讲课文时,教师不仅坚持用英语组织教学,而且力图使自己的语音语调准确规范,富有表现力。学生提问或回答教师的问题也尽可能地使用英语。新课文讲完后,要求学生背诵课文,在此基础上引导学生学会归纳大意进行复述或表演出课文内容。这种形式是培养学生实际运用语言能力的最佳方式。课文教学还可坚持听写训练,听写的内容可以是课文中的单词,短语,句子或课文缩写。这也是强化听力训练。 4、建立课内外活动小组,加强语言听说实践。 英语是一门实践性很强的学科。为开展语言实践活动,可建立课内外活动小组。课内活动小组,每四人一组,由前后两张课桌组成,在课堂上进行问答,对话和表演。课外活动小组可根据学生的语言水平和年龄特点,在课后组织讲故事,朗诵,猜谜语,学唱英语歌,英语文艺演出,出英语墙报,英文打字,举办英语知识竞赛等等。这些活动可使学生开阔视野,增长知识,又可加强学生学习英语的兴趣,提高学生听说英语的能力。除上述各方法外,有条件的学校还可考虑每周开设一节听力课,对学生进行专门的听力训练。利用录音、广播电视等现代化手段来促进学生的听说训练,扩展他们的语言环境。平时可要求学生之间试着用英语交流,以锻炼说的能力。还应改革考试方法,有笔试,口试,听力测验等内容。这样,多方位地开展听说训练,就是提高学生听说能力的有效途径。
