演讲的开头，也叫开场白。它在演讲稿的结构中处于显要的地位，具有特殊的作用。演讲稿的开头，通常有以下几种：
1）开门见山，揭示主题
一般政治性的或者学术性的演讲稿都是开门见山，直接揭示演讲的中心。比如宋庆龄《在接受加拿大维多利亚大学荣誉法学博士学位
仪式上的讲话》的开头：我为接受加拿大维多利亚大学荣誉法学博士学位感到荣幸。
运用这种方法，必须先明确把握演讲的中心，把要向听众揭示的论点摆出来，使听众一听就知道讲的中心是什么，注意力马上集中起来。但这种方法容易显得过于平淡、冷静，很难吸引人。
2）说明情况，介绍背景。
比如恩格斯《在马克思墓前的讲话》的开头：三月十四日两点三刻，当代最伟大的思想家停止了思想，……——但已经永远的睡着了。
这个开头对事情发生的时间地点人物作出了必要的说明，为进一步向听众揭示论题做准备。运用这种方法开头，一定要从演讲的的中心论点出发，不能信口开河，离题万里，更要防止套话、空话，败坏听者的胃口。
3）提出问题，引起关注。

叙述事实，交代背景
开头向听众报告一些新发生的事实，比较容易引起人们的注意，吸引听众倾听。如1941年7月3日斯大林《广播演说》的开头：“希特勒德国从6月22日向我们祖国发动的背信弃义的军事进攻，正在继续着。虽然红军进行了英勇的抵抗，虽然敌人的精锐师团和他们的精锐空军部队已被击溃，被埋葬在战场上，但是敌人又从前线调来了生力军，继续向前闯进。……我们的祖国面临着严重的危险。”
提出问题，发人深思
通过提问，引导听众思考一个问题，并由此造成一个悬念，引起听众欲知答案的期待。如曲啸的《人生?理想?追求》就是这样开头的：“一个人应该怎样对待自己青春的时光呢?我想在这里同大家谈谈我的情况。”
引用警句，引出下文
引用内涵深刻、发人深省的警句，引出下面的内容来。如一个大学生的演讲稿，标题叫《我的思考与奋起》，开头就很精彩：“一个人如果一辈子都不曾混乱过，那么他从来就没有思考过。”
开头的方法还有一些，不再一一列举。总之无论采用什么形式的开头，都要做到先声夺人，富于吸引力。

演讲稿开头的方式有许多种，但无论用何种方式开头，都要在内容上力求有新意，能给人耳目一新之感；在形式上力求巧趣、别致、新奇，能像磁铁般吸引住听众的心。开头要避免使用谦虚过度的谦词。
我们常常听到有人一开始演讲就先说：“我水平有限，有许多不对的地方”；“我没有准备好”；“我在这里班门弄斧，请各位原谅”等等。这类语言，容易使听众产生逆反心理，引起听众的反感。因为听众会说：既然没有准备好，为什么要来讲？自己认为错误的东西，为什么要讲给别人听？同样道理，又要避免自我吹嘘的开头。不要一开口就自吹自擂，或炫耀自己的学识，或标榜学历，为自己涂脂抹粉，这同样会造成听众反感。尤其是竞赛演讲和竞选演讲，更不允许讲这些与演讲主题无关的废话。开头还要避免故弄玄虚，弄巧成拙。不要煞有介事，云天雾地，海阔天空地乱扯一通，以免一味追求
开头的新奇而弄巧成拙。开头避免冗长罗嗦，拖泥带水，兜圈子，绕弯子；切忌入题太缓，离题太远，陈词滥调，官腔十足。
演讲稿主体的要求
演讲稿的主体部分是指开头与结尾之间的文字，是一篇演讲稿的躯干和重点。它直接关系着演讲的成功与失败。就演讲稿的特点来说，其主体部分的写作，难于一般文章主体部分的写作。演讲稿的主体结构的基本要求是：
一、紧承开头
开场白提出了问题，主体就要紧接着加以论述。如果开头提出了一个问题，主体却去讲另一个问题，就会上下脱节，接不上茬，势必会造成整篇演讲的结构松散，甚至文不对题。
二、选好重点
任何一篇演讲稿都有重点和非重点，主要部分和次要部分。一篇演讲稿如果没有重点，没有主次，那么，无论是演讲者或是听众都会抓不住要领。
演讲稿的重点是指那些能体现演讲中心和目的的蕴含着深刻思想与充满感情的段落和语句。
演讲稿主体的重点包括部分、层次、段落、小的层次、语句等以及非重点内的主次关系。
演讲稿主体的重点，随着演讲内容的不同而有所不同。就整篇演讲稿来说，重点在篇首的很少，绝大部分在主体中，也有的在篇尾。无论在哪个部分，重点表现在一两个词句上的很少，绝大部分是集中在由几个段落结合而成的一个层次、一个部分，或集中在一个层次，一个部分的几个段落上。
三、表明层次
层次，是演讲稿思想内容的表现次序，它即体现演讲者思维进程的阶段性的具体表现，也反映了演讲者对客观事物的认识过程。演讲稿划分层次的主要方式有：
1、平行并列
这种讲述层次安排的特点是对演讲中心所涉及的几个主要问题分别进行讲述。几个层次之间的关系是平列的，它们从不同角度来表现演讲中心，或从不同侧面去共同论证某一个论点。
2、正反对比
这种讲述层次是，把分论点与分论点之间、段落与段落之间形成一正一反的对照，使听众从两种事物的不同或对立中辨明谁是谁非，认识中心论点的正确性。
3、层层深入
这种形式是分论点、段落之间步步深入，层层推进。所谓“层层深入”，分论点、段落之间必须有严密的逻辑关系，先讲什么，后讲
什么，顺序不能随意变动。这种讲述方式一般有两步递进，三步递进或四步递进。上面说的是演讲稿主体部分安排层次的几种基本方法。应当提出，这些方法并不是机械死板或互相孤立的，在具体运用时，常常是综合使用，富于变化。
写演讲稿的主体部分，安排讲述的层次容易犯的毛病主要有：一是划分层次的内容分散或不准确，二是次序排列混乱。要防止这些毛病，演讲稿的写作者要认真观察和分析客观事物及其内容联系，通过现象把握本质，并从主题的需要出发，恰当地安排讲述的层次。
四、划分段落
层次是反映演讲内容的表现次序，而段落是表达演讲思路的一个步骤。划分好段落，可以使演讲稿眉目清楚，便于演讲者阅读、理解，并在
演讲时作适当的停顿。
划分好段落，有时还会对演讲的内容起强调或加强的作用。
构段时，要注意其内容统一与完整、各段之间应该有内在联系，并且长短要适度。统一，就是一段集中表达一个意思。如果一段中有几个意思，就会使听众抓不住中心。
完整，就是一个意思要在一段里集中讲完，不要分散到几段中重复地讲。
各段之间有内在联系，是指各段之间内容连贯，上下段之间在内容上逻辑联系，体现出一段是上一段意思的必然发展。
长短适度，就是说构段不能太长或短。段落过长或过短都不利于演讲的进行。过短，段分得零碎，无论演讲者或听众都难以掌握这一层的意思。过长，会出现一段的内容出现几层意思，而且讲起来缺少停顿，听众听起来太压抑，容易产生疲劳。
五、注重衔接
随着层次的展开，中间环节的出现，使演讲稿内在联系变得(更多请搜索：)复杂，若衔接不紧，便会使结构松散零乱，有损于演讲稿主体的整体性。因此，需要采用必要的过渡衔接手段，使复杂变清晰，隐蔽变显露，以达到联贯思路，承上启下，接榫缝合的效果。衔接巧妙，联络无痕，演讲稿似一气呵成，天衣无缝，这不仅给人以脉络清晰的印象，更主要的是使文章浑然一体，给人以完整的印象。
演讲稿的衔接，主要指演讲稿的过渡与照应。
过渡是指层次与层次、段落与段落之间的衔接转换；照应是指前后内容上的关照和呼应。
演讲稿在下列情况下需要过渡：
1、讲述的问题由总到分或由分到总时需要过渡。
2、由一层意思转到另一种意思时需要过渡。
3、由议论转为叙述，或由叙述转为议论时需要过渡。
4、由一件事转到另一件事需要过渡。
上述几种情况的过渡，有的需过渡词，有的需用过渡句，有的需用过渡段。
演讲的照应，有以下几种情况：
1、内容和演讲题目的照应。
2、论点和表现中心思想的关键词语的照应。
3、提出问题和解决问题的照应。
4、内容之间的前后照应。
5、开头与结尾的照应。
六、安排高潮
“文似看山不喜平”。演讲稿不仅要求节奏鲜明，张驰相间，跌宕起伏。更要有波澜起伏的段落和引人入胜的高潮。
演讲的高潮，既是演讲者感情最激昂、气势最雄劲的时刻，更是听讲者情绪最激动、精神最振奋的地方。一次演讲，若能出现一次或几次高
潮，说明演讲者与听讲者之间在感情上产生了强烈的共鸣，说明演讲者的信念和意志得到了响应，说明他所宣传的观点和主张得到了听众发自内心的欢迎和赞同。反之，如果一次演讲没有出现高潮，那么，就会使整个演讲大为逊色，就不可能达到使“快者掀髯，愤者扼腕，悲者掩泣，羡者色飞”的出神入化的佳境。
（一）怎样组织和安排演讲的高潮
关于这个问题，当代著名演讲家李燕杰教授曾经作过精深的论述。他说：“一次演讲，怎样达到高潮？这需要演讲者在感情上一步一步地抓住听众，在理论上一步一步地说服听众，在内容上一步一步地吸引听众，使听众的内心激情逐渐地燃烧起来，演讲将自然地推向高潮。”
许多有经验的演讲者也正是这样，他们在写演讲稿时，或是通过对所举事例的准确恰当地阐释分析，从中提炼出惊世骇俗的观点及深刻的哲理而片语惊人，掀起高潮；或是运用比喻、排比等修辞手法，妙语连珠，满座皆赞，掀起高潮；或是通过演讲的中心论点的精练，透辟地议论，字字珠玑，语语中的，使听众为之折服而掀起高潮；或是运用充满感情的语言，设计自然得体的动作，饱含真挚热烈的情感，为听众创造一个真切动人的意境而达到高潮；或是语言运用富于变化，时而严峻论理，时而轻松谈笑，时而慷慨激昂，时而诙谐幽默，使听众情绪起伏，掀起一个又一个的高潮。使演讲上升到立意高远、艺道兼备、刚柔并济、炉火纯青、引人入胜的意境。
（二）组织和安排演讲高潮时需要遵循的一般原则
1、体现演讲高潮的那些名言、警句或简短的议论，要从可靠的事实或充分的事理中自然而然地生发出来，切忌牵强附会，生涩难懂。
2、演讲的高潮要切实体现出情感浓烈、哲理丰富、令人回味无穷的特征。要像磁石那样，紧紧地吸引地住听众，让谁走，谁也不走，台上台下达到高度的和谐统一。
3、要以简洁明了的语句，亲切得体的方式，生动有力地将自己与听众的思想感情推向高潮。切忌拖泥带水、冗长罗嗦。
4、一般说来，一次较短的演讲，将高潮安排在结尾前比较得体。至于篇幅较长的演讲，则要根据具体情况做出具体的安排，但以在演讲的中间和结尾前出现几次高潮为宜。
