大学英语四级辅导课程标准

一、课程的性质和作用

课程性质:《英语四级辅导》是学生的一门必修课。

大学英语教学是高等教育的一个有机组成部分,大学英语课程是大学生的一门必修的基础

课。大学英语四级辅导教学的作用是:培养学生具有较强的阅读能力和一定的听、说、写、

译能力,使他们能用英语交流信息;帮助学生打下扎实的语言基础,掌握良好的语言学习方法。大学英语考试(CET,通称“四、六级考试”)是在教育部高等教育司的主持和领导下、

由大学英语四、六级委员会设计和开发、与教育部考试中心

共同实施的一项大规模标准化考试,每年举行两次。考试对象为修完大学英语相应阶段课程

的在校大学生。大学英语四、六级考试的目的在于准确地衡量我国在校大学生的英语综合

应用能力,为实现大学英语课程教学目标发挥积极作用。

二、课程的任务与基本要求

主要任务:帮助我系报考四级考试的同学进行考试前的准备,讲解四级考试技巧,并模拟

四级考题对学生进行四级题目的训练,帮助学生顺利通过四级考试。

具体要求如下:

经过基础阶段的英语学习和辅导,使学生达到高等学校大学英语四级的水平。

1. 基本要求

1)词汇

领会式掌握2500单词(其中复用式掌握的单词为1800),以及由这些词构成的常用词组(中学所掌握的单词和词组包括在内),并具有根据构词法知识识别生词的能力。

2)阅读能力

能顺利阅读语言难度中等的一般性题材的文章,掌握中心大意以及说明中心大意的事实和细

节,并能就文章的内容进行分析、推理、判断和综合概括,领会作者的观点和态度,阅读速

度达到每分钟60词。在阅读篇幅较长、难度略低、生词不超过总词数3%的材料时,能正确理解中心大意,抓住主要实施和有关细节,阅读速度达到每分钟100词。

3)听的能力

对题材熟悉、句子结构不太复杂、生词少、语速为每分钟100~120词的篇幅较长的会话、

谈话、报道和讲座,能掌握其中心大意,抓住要点和有关细节,领会讲话者的观点和态度,

并能进行分析、推理和判断。

4)写的能力

能在阅读难度与课文相仿的书面材料时做笔记、回答问题、写提纲和摘要、能就一定的话题、提纲、表格或图示在半小时内写出100~120的短文,能写日常应用文(如信函、简历等),内容完整,条理清楚,文理通顺。

5)译的能力

能借助词典将难度略低于课文的英语短文译成汉语,理解正确,译文达意,译速为

每小时260英语单词。能借助词典将内容熟悉的汉语文字材料译成英语,译文达意,无重大语言错误,译速为每小时220汉字。

2012大学英语四级考试写作辅导 记叙文的思路与练习 记叙文是以叙述人物的经历和事物的发展变化过程为主要表现形式的一种文体。记叙文既可以以写人为主,又可以以写事为主。写记叙文要注意记叙文的“六大要素”即: 时间(When)——何时发生,有没有具体时间? 地点(Where)——何地发生,有没有地点变化? 人物(Who)——何人参与,谁是主角? 事件(What)——发生了什么,有何特点? 原因(Why)——事件的起因? 结果(How)——事件的经过及结局? 一般说来,在一篇记叙文中这六大要素是缺一不可的。 记叙文的思路就围绕这六大要素充分展开。 【例】四级考试中,只出现过一次专门的记叙文体裁的写作,即“An Early Morning Walk”(1988.6.),2003年6月出现过包含记叙文的作文,即“An Eye-Witness Account of a Traffic Accident”。 对于“An Early Morning Walk”,知道命题要求后,我们就要开始构思了。 When:题目已规定了是“清晨”,在这个时候,“我”去散步。 Where:到哪儿散步?去公园?在校园里?在街上(街上空气不好,还是不去!)。 Who:在公园里看到晨练的人:中老年人、年轻人、小孩子;在校园里看到读书背单词的学生。 What:人们热火朝天地做操,随音乐跳舞,打球,等等。 Why:清晨空气清新,适合锻炼;一日之际在于晨,背背书,读读单词。 当然,由这个题目可以令人想到很多东西,因篇幅所限,我们做了删减。
