Unit 1 Does it eat meat?

一、课标话题

外研社新标准英语七年级上册Module 6 A trip to the zoo Unit 1 Does it eat meat?以动物为话题, 让学生了解各种动物的生活方式以及呼吁学生热爱动物,尤其要保护濒危动物。

(一)教学目标:

A、知识目标

通过unit1 的学习,要求所有学生都掌握动物单词,行为动词的一般现在时主语为第三人称单数的一般疑问句及肯定与否定回答。

B、能力目标

1. 所有学生都能听懂有关介绍动物的对话,并能在听的过程中找出细节信息。

2. 百分之八十的学生能够进行语言输出,能对有关动物的话题进行问答。

C、情感目标

1.通过学习让学生领悟到大自然不仅有人类的存在,而且还要使生养我们的地球平衡发展,保护和珍惜野生动物,使我们的家园更美丽和谐。

2.培养学生的合作精神,使他们能够相互帮助,共同完成学习任务,尽情享受学习的乐趣。

(二)教学重难点

1.教学重点:重点句型

—Does the panda eat bamboo ?

—Yes, it does.

—Does the tiger come from Europe ?

—No, it doesn’t. It comes from Asia.

2.教学难点:理解并掌握行为动词的一般现在时主语为第三人称单数的陈述句,一般疑问句及肯定与否定回答。

二、教材分析

本模块以“动物”为话题,介绍了世界各地的动物及其栖息地、习性等。通过听“北京动物园之行”以及阅读“世界各地的动物介绍”,使学生们开阔了眼界,增长了见识,同时唤起他们热爱动物、保护动物的意识。本节课是本模块的第一单元,通过对动物的介绍开展听说读写的活动,为下一单元的阅读和写作做了良好的铺垫。

教学之前用百度在网上搜索相关教学材料,找了很多教案作参考,了解到教学的重点和难点,确定课堂教学形式和方法。然后根据课堂教学需要,利用百度搜索在中小学教程网找到课文的录音学习参考。利用百度搜索《Circle of life》(狮子王主题曲)的视频,课堂放给学生观看,给学生视觉和听觉上的直观感受,导入新课。用百度图片网上搜索下载各种动物的文字和图片资料,做成PPT课堂给同学们演示,让学生了解不同动物的习性,而且令学生更加意识到保护动物的重要性。

三、教学方法

初一学生是刚入校的新生,在英语学习方面存在着个体差异性。所以在知识和能力上,我们在为没学的学生打好扎实基础的同时,必须每节课为那些高起点学生拔高。让不同层次的学生都能找到成就感。刚走出小学校园的学生大部分抽象思维能力较低,形象思维能力强,热情高但注意力容易分散。自我认识较模糊、片面,而在乎他人的评价。所以要特别注重教学方法的灵活性和评价的技巧性。

1. 根据本节课的教材和初一学生好奇心强,思维活跃的特点,以及新课标的要求,我主要采用了任务型教学方法。

2.对于本课的重难点,我主要用了创设情景,让学生在语境中感知、体验、真实运用的教学方法。对于后进的百分之二十的学生采用教授,模仿的方法使学生掌握最基本的内容。

3. 贯彻的教学原则:以学生发展为本,在教学中充分尊重学生和发挥学生的主体地位。把教师的角色由知识的传递者转化为学生学习的促进者,组织者,引导者。根据学生的兴趣爱好设计活动。

四、教学过程

Step 1导入新课

1. T: Show Ss《Circle of life》ask them to talk about the animals they saw .

Ss: lion, giraffe, monkey, tiger, bird ……

T: Yes, we can see many animals in the movie. Today we are going to learn Module 6 A trip to the zoo Unit 1 Does it eat meat?

2. 单词教学

Guessing game: Show the Ss the pictures of animals one by one, by covering a part of each one. Ask them to guess what they are.把学生分成四组比赛,看着半遮盖的图片猜出动物的名称。

3.句型教学

(1)Show a picture of a panda which is eating bamboo and asks the students: What is it? 老师展示熊猫吃竹子的图片并提问学生,用上本课的句型:

Does the panda eat bamboo? Yes, it does.

Does the panda eat meat? No, it doesn’t.

(2)Get the students to work in pairs to practise the above sentence pattern: 让学生操练句型

A:Does …B:---Yes,it does/No,it doesn’t.

Step 2听力训练:

(1)找出对话中行为动词的一般现在时的一般疑问句及其回答。

观察思考:当主语是第三人称单数时,一般疑问句句首的助动词

(2)小组间合作学习对话中的知识点,解决不懂的地方,教师适时点拨。

Step4 Using (学以致用):

用上所学的关于动物的单词和本课的重点句型进行竞猜游戏。分成四个小组,每一个小组,选派两个人,一个人来描述动物,一个人来猜动物的名称。比一比哪个小组猜得最多。时间为一分钟。目的,利用合作性的学习,培养了同学们的团队精神。

设计意图:通过游戏的方式,巩固复习所学知识,有助于培养学生的口头表达能力和胆识。

Step5 播放图片视频,进行情感教育

1.Show some pictures about people killing the animals .

通过课件展示一些人类屠杀动物的图片。

2.T:Show some information of endanger animals.老师展示一些关于濒危动物的图片和资料。

3.Show a video about animals protection.播放成龙呼吁人们保护动物的视频。

设计意图:通过播放明星成龙呼吁人们要爱惜和保护动物的视频,让学生得到情感教育,调动学生热爱动物的情感,增强保护动物的意识。

Step6 当堂检测

一、根据汉语完成句子
