Unit 3 Travel Journal Reading 第二课时说课稿

大家好!

今天我说课的主题是人教版新课标高中英语必修一unit3 travel journal Reading部分的第二课时。我说课的内容包括五部分:

一是教材分析,二是学情分析,三是教学目标,四是教学重难点,五是教学步骤。

一、教材分析

本单元主要以旅游为中心话题,不仅让学生学习到与旅游相关的语言知识和语言技能,还会使学生对旅游产生浓厚的兴趣。通过旅行了解世界各地的文化,增强对祖国大好河山的热爱和国际意识,进而培养学生的跨文化交际能力。

本节课讲到主人公王坤和姐姐王薇想骑单车旅行,于是选定了沿着云南西部的澜沧江,也就是湄公河作为旅游路线。他们选择海拔5000多米,空气非常稀薄的高山作为骑车旅行的起点,这注定是一次非常刺激的旅行经历。通过阅读资料,他们知道了河流的特点和流向,沿途所要经历的地形等等,增长了地理方面的知识,开阔了视野。

课前要求同学们通过各种渠道进一步查询湄公河的资料,如地理位置,流域的地域特征等等,做好课前的准备,实际也是为了更好地理解文章特别是第三自然段做准备。文章的内容对学生比较陌生,难度上也相对较大,因此,要合理分解文章内容,引导学生提炼文章重心。课上,在学生阅读过程中,注意培养学生的阅读策略,以及听、说、读、写综合训练、全面提升的教授策略。合理设计听、说、读、写环节,做到全而不简、泛而不滥。多种手段同时应用,以避免让学生感觉单一、枯燥。

二、学情分析

1.所任教的学校学生英语基础相对比较薄弱,应该有梯度的设置任务,使用分层教学,提高

学生的参与度,使不同层次的学生有机会展示自己,获得成就感,体验学习的快乐。

2.如何激发学生的学习兴趣也很关键,不仅在课堂中要有大量语言知识,而且还要融会大量

的文化知识。

3.学生们已经初步了解了阅读的几个重要技巧,如快速阅读和细节阅读,但是需要反复的练

习和巩固。对高一新生来说,词汇量与阅读技巧都明显不足,因此阅读本篇文章会有一定难度,要求学生做到充分的预习及其查阅资料,获得一定的背景知识。而且,教师必须给予指导,督促学生养成良好的学习习惯,如预习,记笔记,逐渐发展和完善学习策略。

三、教学目标

根据《高中英语新课标》的要求,结合高一学生的实际情况和教材内容,我将从以下三方面来设定我的教学目标。

1.知识目标

帮助学生了解并掌握本节课出现的关键词汇和句型

2.能力目标

1)通过阅读策略的运用,能够从文章中获取主要信息,并且学会写文章的概述(summary),

一定程度上提高学生的阅读能力。

2)增强学生地理知识,开阔视野,提高小组合作和交流能力。

3.情感目标

1)增强学生对祖国的大好河山的热爱。

2)培养学生具有积极的生活态度。

四、教学重点难点:

1、重点

1)熟练掌握并能运用一些重点单词、短语及表达法。

2)正确使用现在进行时表将来计划和安排。

3)听、说、读、写的综合训练。

2、难点

1)培养学生良好的阅读习惯,并且加强对其阅读方法的指导。

2)通过阅读培养学生的自学能力,使其形成有效的阅读策略。

3)通过概述原文,锻炼学生写作、口语表达能力。

五、教学步骤:

1.总体思路

学外语注重的是听、说、读、写全面发展,本课,我将以Reading为素材,以教授阅读方法为主,兼顾听、说、写的练习,以锻炼学生的综合素质。

通过前一次课的学习,学生已经对课文背景以及文章主要内容有了总体的了解。本课的教学设计围绕培养学生初步读写故事类文章的阅读能力,特别是概括文章的能力展开。采用多媒体辅助教学和任务型教学,以此来创设良好的教学情境,优化教学过程,促使学生思考。同时,采用教师指导下的发现式学习方法,启发学生自主理解文本内容,探究和领悟文章的语言特点和篇章结构,并且指导学生进行概述写作练习,促使学生语言能力的提高。

2.具体实施步骤

StepⅠ:Revision (5分)

对上一节课的内容进行简单的提问,请学生复述文章中心内容,为本节课的内容做铺垫。

The plan: finding the details of Mekong River;

Main idea: Wangkun and his sister dreamed about cycling along the Mekong River,and they gave a detail description of the river including its geographical situation and the scenery along

the river.

目的:通过复习,使学生快速进入学习状态;通过对上一节课的回忆,有利于学生考察自己对所学内容的记忆、掌握情况,也可以使学生更好更快的进入本节课的学习。

StepⅡ:Listening (the dream 10分)

1听录音

第一遍:总体把握并找出文中表达时间概念的词汇。

第二遍:回答与各个时间相符的事件。

每听完一遍录音便提问学生回答相应的问题

第三遍:确认所记录的信息,注意文章节奏及语调。

第四遍:同步跟读。

目的:让学生练习听力,同时用以提高学生模仿朗读能力。

品读原文以时间为轴、按照事件发生的先后顺序撰写的方式,并练习如何对原文进行提炼。

StepⅢ: Reading & Talking (10分)

阅读课文,谈论一下“我”姐姐的性格。

提供一些问题,让学生带着问题有目的的进行阅读。

Is his sister a determined girl? Why or why not?

提问学生,让他回答出描写姐姐性格的一些句子,并将其重点信息写在黑板上,然后让学生根据黑板上的提示用自己的语言说出姐姐的性格。

目的:加强阅读能力,让学生学会在看似逻辑性比较散乱的段落中提炼出重要信息。

StepⅣ: Fill in the blanks (8分)

阅读课文,注意湄公河的变化,填写下列空白。

引导学生注意有关描写湄公河的动词,对文章进行赏析。启发学生在写作过程中词汇应用的多样性以丰富、美化文章。

目的:通过此任务,学生在此完成细读内容,同时掌握用对比的方式提炼文章主要内容。

StepⅤ:Summary & Homework

1、Summary : (10分)

给学生5分钟时间,令其根据本课所提炼的文章重心,进行更深一层次的提炼与概括,写出文章大意。并提问一些学生把自己的作品读给大家听,其他学生对其进行评价,进而得出一篇优秀的作品。可将学生创作的一些精彩的句子书写在黑板上。

例:Wang Kun and Wang Wei have dreamed about taking a great bike trip. After they graduated from college. They planned to cycle along the Mekong River with their cousins. Wang Wei

is very stubborn. Once she has made up her mind, nothing can change it. Although it is

difficult to travel along the Mekong River by bike, they are determined to begin their

journey at an altitude of more than 5000 metres.

目的:通过总结本堂课的教学内容,使学生重温课文主要内容,巩固重点词汇、短语及句型。同时学习如何对文章进行概述。这一形式也有利于学生开展自我评价,评估自己对所学内容的掌握。

2、Homework:(1分)

1)在无词汇提示的情况下概述课文。

2)划出并尽力解决文中你认为困难的或重要的短语、句型。

3)总结be+v-ing(正在进行时)的用法。

目的:让学生对本次课所学的知识进行巩固和提升,将课堂所学与生活实际结合起来。同时也培养学生独立解决问题的能力。为进入下节内容做铺垫。

The main content of this lesson is likes and dislikes .It’s related to food. 2. Teaching aims and demands, there are knowledge aims, ability aims and emotional aims. The knowledge aims are to enable the students to master the new words, star, eat, well, habit, healthy, really, question, want, be, fat. the phrases,eat well, eating habit, sports star, after dinner, one last question. the sentences,What do you like for breakfast?/What fruit do you like? The ability aims are to develop the students’ abilities of reading and writing, to train the students’abilities of using language, to guide the students to talk about likes and dislikes and to develop the students’ abilities of creative thinking and cooperative study. The emotional aims are to arouse the students’ interest in learning English, to enable the students to form good eating habits. 3. Teaching key points and difficult points: The teaching key points are to enable students to use the new words, phrases and sentences in English, The difficult points are to enable students to talk about other’s eating habits.. Then I’ll talk about Part 2 the analysis of students. The students have learned English for several years so far. But they are new in middle school. They are curious about new things and have a strong desire to learn better. However, their English learning level are different from each other.
