Cheating on the examination
Nowadays a heated topic about cheating in exams has been on the top list of hot topics.
As we all know, cheating in exams is becoming a common phenomenon across the campus and this situation is going to take a toll, which CET cheating is particularly prominent.The College English Test Band 4 and Band 6 (CET-4 and CET-6) are national standardized examinations required by the Ministry of Education to evaluate college students' English proficiency. Chinese college students almost unanimously agree that the CET is the most important examination. So in recent years, various high-tech devices have been used to cheat on the CET exam across the country.
Like the old saying goes: Everything that happens, happens for a reason. This goes the same with cheatings in the exams. Some students are too lazy and they don’t study hard. They just copy others or copy their books, even use modern communication devices to cheat. On the other hand, the students are taking too many exams, some of which are very difficult. Even a professor himself or herself cannot get a full mark in the exam. Students just want to go
get a high score to please their parents and teachers. Above all the reasons, they don’t take cheating in exams seriously enough.
On cheating in exams, there are some suggestions to ease the situation. First, we should build our confidence study hard and be honest with others. Second, the teachers and other students should help with those cheaters both in studies and forming a good quality. Third, schools should reform the regulations to make it flexible for every case and try to educate them not only to put hard punishment upon them.
Only by joint efforts, can we reduce the cheatings in the exams at the least level.
