“人机对话”背景下英语听说能力的培养 发表时间：2011-02-24T09:49:59.930Z 来源：《考试与评价》教师版2010年第12期供稿作者：王强 [导读] “人机对话”作为英语教学改革的新理念，是实现初中英语新课程改革的一种有效手段。 王强徐州市铜山区大彭镇中心中学 “人机对话”作为英语教学改革的新理念，是实现初中英语新课程改革的一种有效手段。应该说“人机对话”是英语教学改革的必然趋势。但是，长期以来，中考英语口语测试都是在“人人对话”的环境下进行的，我们铜山区几年前在中考英语中就已经把口语测试成绩计入总分，但是一直以来口语教学并未受到重视，我想这是因为口语考试的形式问题，以往的口语测试只是在全县范围内选派一些业务能力强的英语教师，到各个学校互换进行面对面的测试，两名教师对着一名学生，一个问，另一个打分，最后得出这个学生的总分。而且测试的内容都在考前发给学生的一本口语书里，学生在考前稍微练习一下，就基本能得满分，无需平时花大力气，异地老师测试，对农村初中的学生要求并不是很高，能放就放了。这样势必造成口语测试走过场，走形式，甚至产生一些不公平的现象。中考英语口语与听力合测，并实行“人机对话”，这种模式能有效地减少人为误差，标准统一，打分会比较公正。“人机对话”模式充分利用现代信息技术营造了一个更加科学、公正、公平的测试环境。 因此，“人机对话”模式必将对当前初中英语教学带来较大的冲击，也促使各学校积极探索英语听说教学改革，不断创造条件以适应这种考试模式的需要。 这两年来我在英语听说教学方面进行了一些尝试，总结了一些看法和见解。 一、阻碍听说教学的不利因素 1. 教师教学思想的落后 在我们的日常教学中，部分教师的教学观念还有待转变更新，目前大部分英语课堂还是那种教师一支笔、一本书、一言堂、一板书的形式，听说练习也往往是教师控制的、机械的操练，大部分时间放在教师自认为最有用的，最直接的语法教学上，教师讲得口干舌燥，学生听得昏昏欲睡，久而久之，学生对英语学习失去了兴趣，得不偿失。 2. 英语语境的缺乏 我们的学生接触真实英语交际情景的机会非常局限，他们的语言学习和习得的主要环境就是课堂。而在缺少学生创造使用目的语的氛围和场合，无论如何是不能提高学生的训练水平的。 二、提高学生听说能力的有效途径 1. 教师思想观念的转变 在新形式、新环境下，老师自身要适应这种转变，积极探索，尝试用全英文组织课堂教学，使英语听力日常化，教师要充分利用课堂有限的教学时间，为学生创造良好的语言环境。用英语组织课堂教学是对学生进行听力训练最基本、最简便、最实效的形式。在具体实施全英文授课过程中，应注重培养学生听英语的浓厚兴趣，增强他们提高听力的自信心，这是进行听力训练的前提。 2. 加强英语听说教学方法创新 教师可以充分采用多媒体教学强化英语听力。传统的听力练习基本上采用单一媒体形式，如一盒录音带外加一台录音机的教学模式。单一媒体存在诸多不足，这在一定程度上制约了英语听力的效果。随着时代的进步，科技的发展，多媒体在教学当中的普遍运用，为英语听力训练开启了一扇有效之门。多媒体改变了单调的“听”，做到了视听结合，教师可以根据需要进行自录。教师根据课堂所需，自编自制，设置相应的听力材料。通过这样的训练，学生的听力会有大幅度的提高，那么在此基础上，再要求学生进行相关的“说”的输出，结合一定的场景，给出可参考的语言材料，或者设置一些学生喜欢的活动，让他们大量的练习、实践。 3. 建立课内外活动小组，加强语言实践 英语是一门实践性很强的学科。为开展语言实践活动，可建立课内外活动小组。课内活动小组，每四人一组，由前后两张课桌组成，在课堂上进行问答，对话和表演。课外活动小组可根据学生的语言水平和年龄特点，在课后组织讲故事，朗诵，猜谜语，学唱英语歌，英语文艺演出，出英语墙报，英文打字，举办英语知识竞赛等等。这些活动可使学生开阔视野，增长知识，又可加强学生学习英语的兴趣，提高学生听说英语的能力。 总之，语言是来自生活，反映生活的，是一种人们用来沟通思想、感情的工具，也是人们用来表达自己内心，看待世界、生活的工具。正因为如此，教师应想办法调动学生开口讲英语的积极性，培养学生的自信心，传授英语听力、口语学习中的一些策略，帮助学生养成良好的习惯，坚持到实践中进行口语训练。以适应新形势下的英语听力口语测试，使学生在多方面得到发展。
