英语新课堂教学的几点思考 教育工作的灵魂在于思想,教师的全部尊严也在于思想。既有底气又有灵气的教师,才可能 在课堂上显示出大气,才可能在教学中体现出智慧和机智。教师要善于根据学生的生理和心 理发展的特点认真研究教学方法,排除学生在学习上的心理障碍,调动他们的主动性和积极性,最大限度地挖掘学生的潜能,培养他们的独立精神和创新能力。 一、建立和谐融洽的师生关系 教学在任何时候都是双边的。教师和学生之间能否建立起和谐、融洽的师生关系,直接影响 着教学目标的实现。没有爱就没有教育,没有爱的教育就不是教育,爱在教育中怎么体现呢? 1.教师要具有无限的爱生之心。我国教育家曾说过:“教育之没有情感,没有爱,就如同池塘没有水一样。没有水就不成为池塘,没有爱,就没有教育。”教师只有以良好的感情,崇高的道德去关爱学生,才会激发学生积极向上的力量,受到学生的尊敬与爱戴。教师要深入了解 学生的兴趣、爱好和情绪变化,时时处处关心学生,爱护学生,尊重学生,有的放矢地帮助 学生,与学生建立良好的师生关系。只有用发自内心的真情实感去打动学生,感染学生,学 生才会在情感上与教师产生共鸣,才会“亲其师,信其道”。 2.对待学生要温和、微笑、多赞扬。微笑体现了教师对学生的热忱、关心和爱护,是一种“爱”的表现。实践也证明,教师的微笑能取得多方面的教育效应,从教育心理学的角度说,凡是 教师寄予希望的学生,感爱到教师的关心,爱护和鼓励,他们就能以积极的态度对待教师。 每个学生都有学好的愿望,因而采取批评的方式应是在理解、尊重、宽容、善待的基础上, 要让他们真正体会到教师的批评是诚挚的,是对他们由衷的爱护和帮助。 二、营造宽松、民主、和谐的教学氛围 教师要勤修师德,苦练基本功,创建一种开放的、和谐的、积极互动的语言活动氛围,寓教 于乐。要以满腔的热情投入课堂教学,以洒脱的仪表、文雅大方的举止、简洁幽默的谈吐吸 引学生,以饱满的精神状态、轻松愉快的表情感染学生。让学生在英语的环境中愉快自然地 操练,不断提高听、说、读、写的基本能力。 营造轻松愉悦的学习气氛应贯穿课堂教学的全过程。课前,教师可以根据需要教唱英文歌; 用学生大致能够听懂的英语讲个幽默、笑话、小故事、谚语;或由学生进行三分钟英语会话 练习,自由演讲,自由对话;集体做一个游戏或唱一首英语歌曲等,从而凝聚学生的注意力,活跃气氛,激发兴趣,达到教学前的预热效果。教师可根据教学内容设置悬念,提出引人深 思的问题,吸引学生的注意力;也可从直观教具和演示开始教学。 有了情景,学生印象才深刻,声、形、意才能有机结合,学生学得才有趣,掌握才准确。一 堂课就是一个完整的艺术品,不仅要有一个好的开始和发展,也要有一个好的结尾。根据不 同的情况,下课前可给学生设置一个新的“悬念”,留一个耐人寻味的问题,放一遍课文录音,让学生小结一下课堂主要内容,唱一首歌曲等。一堂课,始终要让学生学得轻松愉快、兴趣 盎然。注意在互动实践中满足学生的成功欲。不同水平,不同层次的问题和语言材料,要由 不同水平,不同层次的学生实践。这样每个学生都可品尝成功的喜悦和成就感,从而情趣大振,热情倍增。 三、采用灵活多变的教学方法 课堂教学是教师执行教学目标,学生完成教学任务的一个重要环节。英语教学的重心应放在 课内,向45分钟要质量。实践证明:单一的教学方法往往是乏味的,即便是一个好的方法,经常用也会逐渐失去它的魅力。为了激发、保持和巩固学生的兴趣,教师要认真钻研教材, 根据教学内容的不同,探索与之相应的好的教学方法。
