教学设计

单元教学思路

1.单元教材分析

本单元重点是掌握评价电影、电视节目的单词和句型。通过本单元的单词学习,学生可以自由讨论自己喜爱或不喜爱的电视节目,用较为灵活自主的句型和丰富恰当的形容词对其进行评价;能够写出较为完整、理由充分的影评;在日常生活中能与他人自主讨论电视、电影等传媒节目。在本课中,句型的学习是重点,形容词的认知和学习也是一大重点。教师在教给学生不同形容词意义的同时也应说明使用范围,避免误用和滥用。由于本课涉及娱乐内容,比较容易吸引中学生的兴趣,因此课堂气氛预期较为活跃。因为涉及传媒娱乐,教师可以预备丰富的资源对学生加以展示。

本单元以影评、电视评论中单词和句型学习和运用为重点,共设计了三个部分的内容:

Section A:该部分一共有三个模块,第一模块是基本句型和单词短语的导入,以对回话、听力的基础训练为主。第二模块以听力和口语训练为主体,巩固上一模块的知识点。第三模块以自主短文填空、开放性问题、小调查为主,自主性较高。

Section B:该部分一共有三个模块,第一模块主要是新单词短语的认知、听力和口语能力的训练。第二模块阅读和口语练习为重点,将对事物喜好的谈论上升到书面写作层次,主要训练学生的阅读能力。第三模块以一篇短文填空开头,训练学生的逻辑思维能力,随后是与之紧密配合的写作训练,考验学生的英语综合运用能力。

Self Check:该部分有三个模块:第一模块根据提示的单词短语造句,训练学生的语言逻辑能力,检查其对本课知识点的掌握程度,是一种综合性的考察类型;第二模块是主管类型的题,在课程即将结束之时让学生轻松一下,发散思维,灵活运用。

2.教学思路

1. 有名词和形容词较多较杂,学会可能会觉得不是很好记,这就需要灵活运用单词记

忆策略,进行分类记忆。可先对专用名词单独记忆,因为这些名词涉及娱乐传媒,学生比较有兴趣,可以在预习时通过收集同类词进行初步记忆,然后在小组讨论、竞赛等活动时进行巩固加强。名词突破后,形容词可以在口语训练中通过重复得以加强。

2. 本单元的语法可以归类为单词短语单元,更多的是考查语言综合能力。所以需要耐

心地指导学生充分调动思维,根据自己的知识体系来进行阅读、听力、口语训练。

3. 本单元对学生的口语训练主要集中在句型运用的准确度上,在所创设的不同情境中,给学生更多自主表达的机会。

重点:1. 掌握询问他人喜好程度和回答他人询问的句型并能灵活运用到生活中。

2. 能正确恰当地选用形容词。

突破方法:引导学生通过大量练习熟练掌握精准地掌握句型。有的学生分不清什么时候用what,什么时候用how,这就是基础不牢的表现。对于形容词的选用,可以在教学开始的单词讲解中就应该将单词的用法讲解清楚,并通过练习让学生熟悉并掌握。本节课的开放性问题较多,需加大监督力度,在讨论期间要确保学生在用英语交流关于本课的问题,讨论结束之后在时间允许的情况下尽可能多地让学生分享自己的观点,尽量让每个学生都有发言的机会,让每个学生的口语都可以得到锻炼。

难点:影评写作。

突破方法:本课难点主要体现在阅读和写作,而写作更是难上加难,因为本课的写作对逻辑性要求非常强,对于学生的综合素质要求很高,所以必须耐心认真批改每篇作文,其次是要细心,许多小的错误不容易被发现,开始只是口语的错误,久而久之就带到写作中了,所以在最初几个课时的口语训练时要格外细心。还可以让基础较好的学生自由发挥,让基础较差的学会依照3a仿写,因材施教。

Step 1. Leading in

1. Students work in groups, exchange the information about TV programs that they collect.

2. Ask some groups to show their information, and teach other students to read the names of the TV programs.

3. Show some pictures to check if students can remember the programs.

4. Check the answers of 1a with students.

5. Play the recording, ask students to finish 1b, check the answers.

Step 2.Show the target language

1. Ask “Do you like watching TV? How do you think of these programs?” Show the patterns on the screen: love, like, don’t mind, don’t like, can’t stand. Help students use these patterns to discuss the programs in the groups, and try to tell others why they like or dislike them.

2. Ask some groups to report in front of the class.

3. Play the recording ,and finish 2a and 2b.

Step 3. Role play

1. Play the recording of 2d, students listen and read by following it. Then students read together loudly.

2. Go though the conversation, explain any questions that students can’t understand.

3. Students make a new conversation in the groups according to the information of the group mates.

4. Ask some groups to show their conversations.

Step 4. Grammar Focus

1. Go though all the sentences ,then students read them together.

2. Students make their own sentences using these patterns, ask individual students to read them out.

Step 5. Homework

Write your new conversations and sentences on your exercise books.

The Second Period ( Section A 3a—Section B 2a) Teaching Aims

Step 1. Revision

Give students 1 minute to prepare the conversations they made last class, then ask some groups to show them. Other students listen carefully, write down the good sentences or mistakes the actors make.

Step 2. Pair work

1. Do pair work. Read though 3a, students cooperate with their partner to make a conversation and perform it.

2. Ask several pairs to perform their conversations.

Step 3. Oral work

1. Give students several minutes to finish the questions of 3a.

2. Ask individual student to share their answers with class.

Step 3. Presentation

1. How many adjectives can you find to describe the TV programs? Write down as many adjectives as you can, then exchange them in the groups.

2. Ask some groups to share their words with class, read these words together.

3. Read the words of Section B, 1a, then finish 1a.

Step 4. Listening

1. Play the recording, students finish 1b and 1c.

2. Check the answers with class.

Step 5. Oral work

1. Students talk about what programs they like or dislike and the reasons in groups.

2. Ask some groups to report their group mates’ preferences.

3. Discuss the questions in 2a in groups, ask some students to share their answers.

Step 6. Summary and homework

1. Today we have reviewed how to make preferences about movies and plans. We have also learned some new adjectives to describe TV shows and movies.

2. Write down your answers of 2a on your exercise books.

1. Students discuss their favorite cartoons in the groups. They can talk about the characters in the cartoons and why they like them.

Step 2. Reading

1. Play the recording of 2d for listening, then ask students to read the passage carefully, underline the phrases and sentences they can’t understand.

2. Complete the time line on page 38.

3. Complete 2c and 2d, check the answers with class.

4. Go though and explain all the language points.

5. Complete 2e, ask some students to read their sentences.

Step 3. Group work

1. Everyone comes up with two questions about the passage and discuss them in groups.

2. Ask some groups to share their questions and other students answer.

2. Think about your favorite movie, write something about it on your exercise books, you can talk abut the name and kind of the movie, characters and stars in it.Of course, you should tell us what you think of it.

单元总结及反思

.本单元的话题是“Talk about preferences ; Make plans ”。围绕这一话题我采用收集资料,了解,和讨论等方式让同学们通过参与来激发学习兴趣进而加强对知识的理解并能达到灵活运用的能力。让学生学会询问对方并了解别人喜好和计划,以便于今后在交际中恰当表达自己的情感,并学会恰当正确地谈论这一话题。这一单元内容比较多,既要了解电视节目的种类,又要学习如何评价它们,最后还要学习写影评,这些内容主客观交加,既训练了学生的应变能力,又同时训练学生的综合表达能力。我主要采取了小组合作学习的形式,让学生自主地表达学

习,实现对知识的融合,为学生搭建展示自我的平台。对于本单元的重难点,我主要倡导合作学习、重视师生互动;加强信息技术与学科课程的整合,运用多媒体教学手段辅助教学,注重实现教学方法的优化组合。用任务型教学法引导学生在完成任务的过程中“用中学,学中用”,培养学生运用目标语言解决实际问题的能力。用情景教学法在课堂教学中,借助多媒体手段呈现一些图片、动画及资料,创设生动直观的教学情景,激发学生的学习兴趣。同时采用小组加分制,激发学生的学习兴趣,增强竞争意识。

新课标高一英语必修2 第5单元Music Reading教学设计 一、设计思想 根据“二语习得理论”、“整体语言教学”的理论和实践,以及当前新课程“自主、合作、探究”等核心理念,运用任务型语言教学途径(Task-based Language Teaching)来设计本节阅读课的教学。 本节阅读课教学设计的最大特色是: (1)教学环节层次清楚,环环相扣。The Band That Wasn’t是一篇以介绍美国知名乐队组合The Monkees的发展历程为主的文章。教学设计分成三个部分:阅读前—阅读中—阅读后。阅读前由学生汇报一个小型的调查结果、展示著名乐队组合图片和呈现The Monkees组合的信息三个活动组成,为阅读提供背景知识。阅读过程主要通过快速阅读和仔细阅读来实现。仔细阅读环节中设置了完成练习T or F,查找The Monkees细节信息完成表格,然后根据表格,回顾The Monkees发展历程和选择合适的adj. 来表达自己对于乐队的看法等多个任务。阅读后展开讨论,引导学生思考音乐对于我们生活的影响,完成写作任务“Music”。教学设计以阅读理解能力的提高为主要目标,兼顾听、说、写的训练。 (2)采用了新课标提倡的任务型教学途径。《普通高中英语课程标准(实验稿)》提出中学英语教学应“尽量采用任务型的教学途径”的要求。任务型语言教学强调采用具有明确目标的“任务”来帮助语言学习者更主动的学习和运用语言。(周智忠)因此,笔者在教学设计中设计了多项学习任务,如进行社会调查以了解不同的音乐类型在不同人群中受喜爱的情况;搜集The Monkees乐队信息;对搜集到的信息进行整理,制作成课件展示;阅读课文,找出主题句,查找细节信息等,促使学生在整个教学过程中参与各种活动,自主探究,真正获得自主学习的成功乐趣。 (3)采用了小组合作学习作为课堂活动的主要组织形式。小组合作学习不仅能让学生了解对方的观点,而且让他们学会表达自己的观点,并在此基础上学会讨论问题的要领和方法。(张丽丽)根据教学内容的特点,笔者精心设计了多个合作学习的机会,如三人或四人一组完成调查;以小组为单位设计海报或制作多
