How to Make a Proper and V ivid Description

1.学情分析

授课对象是高三学生,即将参加高考的他们已经进行了大量的作文练习,语言功底相对比较深厚,也能注意作文的组织结构。但是在内容方面,无论什么样的体裁,他们是想到什么就写什么,不太注意内容一致性,描写比较空洞,论证也没有多大的说服力,所以在第三轮复习阶段尤其要注意内容方面的描写。

这节课主讲地点描述文,取材于奉贤区二模作文,描述现在的教室和理想的教室。基于以前已经进行过人物、场景和实物的描写,这次描写地点个别学生已经掌握了一些给描写文增色的方法,但很有限,而且多数学生依旧没有摆脱空洞的描写。因此此课旨在从恰当的描写和生动的描写两个方面去美化内容,给作文增分。

2.教案

◆Teaching Objectives:

At the end of the lesson, the students will be able to

1)get rid of writing at random and realize the importance of a proper and vivid description;

2)get a general idea of the three elements of description (qualities, details and figures of

speech) and learn to apply them to descriptive writing;

3)know the importance of observing by five human senses and combine the observation

with writing.

Stage 2 Reviewing the writing

1. To praise students for what they have done well when writing;

2. To present what they have done not so well and give some examples from their writings.

Skills learning 1. To illustrate the three elements of description and ask students to think over their functions and relationship.

1. To present a description remaining to be polished and ask students to rewrite it based on the three elements;
