英语作业的布置与批改英语作业布置阶段检测与批改情况不少初中英语教师在布置作业的过程中,常常不自觉地步入“题海”的误区,其结果是不仅空耗自己和学生大量的宝贵时间,而且导致学生厌学,降低教学质量。如何有效地规范初中英语作业的布置与批改?笔者就此谈谈看法。 作业布置上的“四性” 笔者既反对重笔头、轻听力、轻口语的单一型练习模式,又反对不加选择、大量盲目“引进”习题的做法(它往往是导致陷入“题海”的直接原因)。笔者认为,在布置作业时,必须注意以下几点。 针对性英语作业按其类型可分为课内作业与课外作业;按其形式又可分为听力作业、口语作业与书面作业(笔头作业)。因此,采用何种类型和形式的作业,就需要根据每次作业的重点和学生具体情况来确定。教师在选题时,只有将学生的水平层次(个体层次)与知识层次(“四会”层次)有机地结合起来,才能使练习具有较强的针对性。

层次性教师在布置作业时要遵循“因材施教”这一教学原则,同时还要遵循以下原则:“切进重点、降低起点迎学生;深入浅出、设置情境引学生;长期规划、精心设计练学生;发展能力送学生”。教师在完成单位时间内的教学内容后,应结合教学内容和学生实际水平,布置层次分明(指学生个体层次、知识层次)、结构合理(指题型)、题量适中(指大、小题目数)的同步作业。教师要通过自己精心设计或选编的练习,让每个学生都能有收获,都能享受到成功的快乐。 时效性作业不仅是单位时间内教学内容的延伸与补充,而且是对某一阶段内重点知识的巩固和教学效果的评价,因而它应具有时效性(即教师布置的作业应以强化和巩固当堂或一单元内所授重点、难点知识为主,不宜有过多超前或滞后的知识内容)。这样学生才能明白每次作业训练的主旨,才能完成得轻松、愉快、有成效。 作业批改中的“三结合”

This is particularly true in international business since it is mostly through negotiation that exporters and importers iron out their differences and reach a satisfactory, fair and mutually benefit deal. Thus, negotiation is one of the important steps taken towards completing import and export trade agreements. Foreign trade negotiation is a consultative process between governments, trade organizations, MNCS, private business firms and buyers and sellers in relation to investment and import and export of products, machinery and equipments and technology. In international trade, it is fairly important for the participants to know negotiation principles and tactics in order to arrive at an agreement successfully. There are generally two basic principles in foreign trade negotiations. First, negotiators should know well their own situation and that of the counterpart and thus not be willfully manipulated by them. Second, negotiators should express their expected purpose definitely and take a firm stand in the negotiation. Price is usually the most sensitive issue in business negotiations because it directly concerns the economic benefits to both sides. Therefore, this subject should usually be postponed until all of the other aspects have been discussed and agree upon. Generally speaking, you begin negotiating at a bit higher price than you really expected and lower it a little each time. Each time you cut the price, you should remain serious about the desired results. Under this situation, your counterpart may well accept your quotation as the best possible price. In short, the end of negotiation is to reach an agreement to the mutual advantage of the two parties. Negotiators should try their best to use soft and euphemistical words, speak appropriately and tactically, and create a harmonious atmosphere in negotiation.

A yoga-practicing billionaire who doesn't own a cellphone, the 70-year-old Gross — known as the bond king — left the Newport Beach company amid clashes with other executives and declining returns. The turmoil includes a federal investigation, the earlier departure of Pimco's high-profile chief executive and an outflow of billions of dollars from the firm's signature bond fund — the largest of its kind and a staple in Americans' 401(k) retirement plans. "In the asset management world, accumulating negative headlines and controversy is not good for business," said Russel Kinnel, director of manager research at fund tracking firm Morningstar Inc. Gross joined Janus Capital Group Inc., where he will manage a recently launched global bond fund, Janus said Friday. He'll be based out of a new company office in Newport Beach The fund he'll be managing, the Global Unconstrained Bond Fund, is tiny compared with the one he's leaving. It has just $12.9 million in assets compared with the $221 billion in Pimco's Total Return Fund. "He is probably one of a very small number of active mutual fund managers whose name people know," said Todd Rosenbluth, director of mutual fund research at S&P Capital IQ. "Gross will be a positive for Janus. It makes them a much more relevant fixed income manager." He took an unlikely path to the elite ranks of finance, honing his knack for numbers at Las Vegas blackjack tables after earning a psychology degree from Duke University. Gross spent 16 hours a day counting cards, turning $200 into $10,000 and getting kicked out of several casinos. After joining the Navy and serving in Vietnam, Gross enrolled in UCLA's business school. He co-founded Pimco in 1971 and built the company into such a powerhouse that critics worried it controlled too much of the bond market. In 2010, Morningstar named him bond fund manager of the decade, noting that "no other fund manager made more money for people than Bill Gross." Investors in the Total Return Fund range from holders of small 401(k) retirement accounts to the world's biggest institutional investors. Gross was once mentioned as a possible replacement for Lawrence H. Summers as President Obama's top economic advisor. He became a frequent television commentator, making him an unlikely celebrity from the world of fixed income securities.
