Unit3 Weather

B Let’s learn教学设计

一.教学目标:

(一)语言技能目标:

1. 能够在语境中正确运用这五个单词描述天气情况。

2. 能够在语境中理解world, Sydney, London, Moscow, Singapore的意思并能正确

发音。

3. 能够在Let’s play的卡片游戏中,随意匹配城市名与天气词语,运用句型It’s

cold and snowy in Kunming.做表述。同伴则根据实际情况予以确认或进行举证,Yes, it is./No, it’s warm in Kunming now.

(二)语言知识目标:

1.能够听、说、认读5个描述天气的单词:rainy, snowy, cloudy, sunny, windy.

2.能够听说认读句子What’s the weather like …? It’s rainy…

(三) 情感、策略、文化目标:

1.培养学生合作学习能力。

2.学生可以,保护环境,关心日常天气变化,及时提醒家人,朋友根据天气变化更换

衣服。

二、教学重、难点:

重点: 能够听、说、认读5个描述天气的单词:rainy, snowy, cloudy, sunny, windy。

难点:1. 能够在语境中正确运用这五个单词描述天气情况。

2.学生能够注意形容词的正确发音和构词规律,即末尾有字母y,发/i/音。

三、教具:

PPT,词卡,转盘玩具,题卡。

四、教学步骤:

课前交流:

1.Enjoy a song“Thunder”

2.Free talk :

T: Hello, boys and girls, I am your new teacher Cassidy. What’s your name?

S: My name is ---

T: Nice to meet you.

S: ---

T: First, I will divide you into four groups. you are group A ,ok?. If you do well,

you can get one flower , ok? You are group B, You are group C, You are group D .Are you

ready now?

S: Ready.

T: Now class begins.

(设计意图:通过欣赏歌曲和自由谈话,来活跃课堂气氛,激发学生学习英语的兴趣。)

Step1 Preparation

T:Look(教师手指窗外), What’s the weather like today?

S: It’s warm.

T: Yes, it’s warm today, I am g oing to take a trip. First, I have to listen to the weather reporter. Let’s listen together.(师播放录音。复习四个城市的天气情况。)

T: What’s the weather like in ---?

S: It’s ---

(设计意图:通过日常交流和听说活动复习上节课所学有关天气的单词,并导入话题,为新课的

学习做好铺垫。)

Step2 Presentation

(一)创设情境,单词导呈。

1.学习world

T :My good frind -John’s father is going to take a trip around the world .

展示世界地图 (肢体+地图箭头表示)What’s the meaning of the world? Can you guess?

you try,please. 生答后教学world,指世界地图练习发音出示词卡,升降调,分音节教

学,T :It’s a world map.

(设计意图:处理新单词“world”,为学生接下来的单词学习扫除障碍,做铺垫。)

2.学习sunny

(PPT:飞机降落)First, John’s father wants to go to there, where is it? Can you

guess?

S:生猜Sydney. 教学该词强调d 不完全爆破。 T:What’s the weather like in Sydney?(出图) Let’s listen to the world weather report. 教师放音频。

T: What’s the weather like in Sydney?板书

S:It’s sunny. 板书简笔画教读分音节教学引导学生进行自主拼读 /s / /?/ /n/ -sun, y sounds/i / ,Can you spell it? 学生进行自主拼读 /s / /?/ /n//i / -sunny, 出示sunny词卡,升降调,男女生读,小组读。用不同城市图片操练。

3.学习rainy

(1)(PPT:飞机降落)T: Where is John’s father now?出示图 Guess! You can say in Chinese. S:---- T:Maybe ---Let’s see. Oh, it’s London. 出示London词卡,升降调,找个别生读。

(2)T:What’s the weather like in London?出示图, let’s watch listen and find

out.教师放音频。

T: What’s the weather like in London? Who can try? You can say in Chinese .

S: It’s rainy.板书简笔画、教学(音义)分音节教学引导学生进行自主拼读/r //e / /n / - rain ,y sounds /i / ,Can you spell it? 学生进行自主拼读/r / /e / /n / /i

/ - rainy,出示rainy.词卡,升降调,找个别生读,小组读。用不同城市图片操练。

4.学习cloudy

(PPT:飞机降落)(1)T:Where is John’s father now?出示图 Can you guess?You can say in Chinese.

S: ---

T: Now let’s have a look, oh, it’s Singapore. 出示Singapore.词卡,升降调。师提醒Singapore中g的发音。

(2)T:What’s the weather like in Singapore?出示图,let’s watch listen and find out.教师放音频。

S: It’s cloudy.板书简笔画教学(音义)分音节教学引导学生进行自主拼读/kl / /a ? //d / -cloud,y sounds /i / ,Can you spell it? 学生进行自主拼读/kl / /a? / /d / /i / -cloudy, 出示cloudy词卡,升降调,分音节教学,小组读,找个别生当小师读。

用不同城市操练该句型。

5. 学习snowy

(PPT:飞机降落)(1)T:Where is John’s father now? Guess,You can say in Chinese. S:Moscow 同方法教学该词。

(2)T: What ’s the weather like in Moscow?出示图. Let’s watch listen and find

out.教师放音频。

S: It’s snowy.板书简笔画教学(音义)分音节教学引导学生进行自主拼读/s//n//? ?/-snow,y sounds /i / ,Can you spell it? 学生进行自主拼读/ s/ /n/ /?? / /i / -snowy,出示snowy词卡,升降调, Read it from low voice to high voice. 用不同城市操练该

句型。

6. 学习windy

T:At last, John’s father goes to Beijing. What’s the weather like in Beijing?

出图,播放大风音频生猜。

S:It’s windy。简笔画教学(音义))分音节教学引导学生进行自主拼读/w//?

//n/d//i/-wind, y sounds /i / ,Can you spell it? 学生进行自主拼读/w//?

//n/d//i/-windy,出示windy 升降调教读。集体读,小组读, 个读。Say windy to your partner.

(总设计意图:创设真实情景,让学生在真正的体验中通过听说认读学习关于天气的单词,

对于发音较难的的单词,教师采用分音节的方法来教,达到突破难点的目的。)

7.整体认读,找规律:

T:Now please read these five words, what can you find ? you can speak in

Chinese(它们都是描述天气的形容词,都是以y结尾,y的发音是【i】)

(设计意图:整体认读加深对所学单词的印象,并让学生总结来找规律以此来记住单词。) (二)Listen and imitate.听音正音:

T:Now please open your book, turn to page28, listen , point and repeat. Pay attention to your pronunciation and intonation.

提醒生注意语音语调。

(设计意图:通过听录音达到纠音的目的,并让学生边听边指从音、义、形方面整体认读单词。)

(三)合作学习:

T:Read in pairs. Onepoint, one read. Then change.Pay attention to your pronunciation and intonation.

提醒生注意语音语调。

(设计意图:通过同桌合作达到纠正单词发音的目的。)

(四) Let’s chant

What’s the weather like in Sydney?

Sunny, sunny, It’s sunny.

What’s the weather like in London?

Rainy, rainy, It’s rainy.

What’s the weather like in Singapore?

Cloudy, cloudy, It’s cloudy.

What’s the weather like in Moscow?

Snowy, snowy, It’s snowy.

What’s the weather like in Beijing?

Windy, windy, It’s windy.

(设计意图:通过chant的形式,操练和巩固本节课所学内容)

Step 3 Practice

1.Play a game :Who is the lucky dog?师先示范,再请生操练。

T: Now let’s play a game . Who is the lucky dog?

Model:

T:Look , where is it?(师手指ppt)

S: It’s …

T:What’s the weather like in …?Guess!

S:It’s …

T:Maybe it’s… Let’s see ,oh, it’s … Who is the lucky dog?师奖励

小礼物,找两个学生上台当小老师进行展示。

(设计意图:通过该转盘游戏巩固操练本节课的所学主要单词。)

2.Let’ s play(一名学生随意匹配城市名与天气词语,运用句型It’s cold and snowy

in Kunming.做描述;同伴则根据实际情况予以确认或纠正Yes, it is./No, it’s

warm in Kunming now.然后角色互换,互相练习。师先示范,再请生操练。)

T: Are you happy now? Let’s play another game. I have some i nteresting cards.

Group A is weather cards. Group B is place cards. Who wants to play with

me ?天气在上,地点在下,生先抽,引导生说It’s cold and snowy in Kunming.

T :No, it’s warm i n Kunming now.师再抽:It’s …生:Yes, it is.T : Thanks

very much, go back, please. Now practice in your groups.生练习,小组展示。

(设计意图:通过该游戏练习和巩固本节课的所学主要单词和句型。)

Step 4 Production

一.Let’s make a trip plan.(制定旅游计划)

Now we are going to take a trip, but we should listen to the weather report

first .Please listen carefully ,then choose the right weather, for example,

it’s snowy in Beijing today, I will tick here.师放录音。学生听音做题。

Now change your papers, check your answers, change again , who is all right?

(设计意图:通过听音,打勾的活动了解不同地方的天气信息,练习和巩固本节课的所学

主要单词和句型。)

二. Now let’s talk about your trip。

(1)Model:

A: I like Beijing. What’s the weather like in …?

B: It’s snowy in Beijing today.

A: Thank you.

B: I like ... What’s the weather like in …?

A: It’s snowy in … today.

B: Thank you.

(2) Work in groups.

(3) Show.

(设计意图:创设情景,联系学生实际生活,完成天气表格后进行简单描述,达到学以致用。让学生在完成任务的过程中把语言知识转化为语言技能。)

情感渗透:

1.当你外出时,请留意天气变化,适时添加衣物,注意身体健康。

2.I know :

伦敦受北大西洋暖流和西风影响,属温带海洋性气候,四季温差小,夏季凉爽,冬季温暖,空气湿润,多雨雾,秋冬尤甚。

(设计意图:适时进行情感教育:学生可以,保护环境,关心日常天气变化,能够对气

候特点和天气情况进行描述并能及时提醒家人,朋友根据天气变化更换衣服。)

Step 5 Progress

1.做当堂达标题。基础训练 P21 Ⅲ Read and choose.

(设计意图:考察学生对单词的掌握情况。)

(设计意图:引导学生对本课做一个总体的概括,了解本课所学的主要内容。)

2.Homework :

1.Listen to the tape and imitate for two times。

2.Listen to the weather report, talk about the weather with your

friends.

(设计意图:将课堂学习延伸到课外,进一步巩固所学知识,保持学生学习英语的积极性。) 教师进行小组评价总结。
