1. Show a basketball and a ping-pong.
At first, the teacher says, “ Basketball / Ping-pong is a sport. What is basketball /ping-pong? A sport. We play basketball and ping-pon g. We play sports.”
2. Demonstrate runners and T-shirt with real clothes.

1. Drill.

1) Talk about the pictures in this lesson.

I want this one. T hank you.”
Step 5 Practice
1. Drill.
The students practice the sentences like “ I an looking for it/runners…”
2. Books closed! Ask some questions. What did Jenny and Li Ming buy? How mush are they? Listen to the audiotape.
3. Check the answers with the whole class.
4. Practice the dialogue in groups.
5. Present. Ask some volunteers to act out the dialogues.
6. Make up a new dialogue.
Divide the class into small groups. Ask each group to make up a dialogue about buying sports clothes in a store.

At first, the teacher writes some words such as: morning, afternoon, evening, some verbs phrases such as play ping-pong, etc, while giving the students a dialogue.
