1. After our ship crashed against the rocks, I swam as far as I could. 在我们的船撞礁后，我尽可能快地身远处游泳。
（1）crash against the rocks 撞到岩石 (against 介词紧靠，碰，撞；反对，违背)
（2）swim as far as one can / could = swim as far as possible 游得尽可能远;奋力前游
as+ adj. / adv.(原级)+ as……，. It’s not as difficult as I thought.这没有我想象的那么难。

Grammar
v 建议 advice n (不可数)
（1）.advise doing sth 建议做某事。如：He advised leaving early. 他建议早点动身。
I advise waiting till proper time. 我建议等到适当时机。注：不能直接后跟不定式作
宾语。所以不能说：* He advised to leave early.
（2）. advise sb to do sth 建议某人做某事。如：He advised me to buy a computer. 他
建议我买台电脑。 The doctor advised me to take a complete rest. 医生建议我完全休息。注：以上意思也可用后接从句的形式表达(注意从句用 should＋v. 这样的虚拟
语气)。如上面第一句也可说成:He advised that I (should) buy a computer.
（3）. advise sb against doing sth 劝告某人不要做某事。= advise sb not to do sth
如：He advised her against going out at night. 他劝她晚上不要出去。
Her father advised her against marrying the worker. 她父亲劝告她不要嫁给这个工人。=He advised her not to go out at night.
（4）. advise sb of sth 通知或告知某人有某情况。如： Please advise us of the arrival of the goods. 货物到达时请通知我们

such a/an + 形容词 + 名词单数 = so + 形容词 + a/an + 名词单数

such 除了修饰单数可数名词外，还可以修饰复数名词和不可数名词，so 是副词，修饰形容词或副词。如果复数名词前有 few，many 等形容词；不可数名词前有little，much 等形容词，就必须用 so，而不能用 such，
例如： The camel had such a long neck. 骆驼长着那样长的脖子。Don’t make so much noise! 别那么大声嚷嚷。
